FORCE is Florida's Organics recycling effort involving Sumter County, Florida Department of
Environmental Protection (FDEP), and Public/Private Researchers.
The legislatively funded project provides a framework to promote organics recycling and research in a
statewide effort to streamline compost processing, research, demonstration, marketing, and education in Florida.
