FORCE represents a cooperative effort involving Sumter County, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection
(FDEP), and Public/Private researchers.
Sumter County and Public/Private researchers will cooperate on numerous organics research projects, and the
partnership will offer an ideal combination of practical experience, research capability, and
public education resources. The Annual Operating Plans and the Annual Reports submitted to the
FDEP for the FORCE project are provided below and detail the annual activities for each year.
